PASSION AND PASSION – A transparent view of Man
Passion from the Latin verb patī meaning to suffer.
Passion is an intense emotion compelling feeling, enthusiasm, or desire for something.
While the symbol of the Cross represents suffering it also represents ‘to embrace the world’. There is a loneliness to each of us, a disconnect, a searching.”A photograph isolates each moment and is therefore in its nature radically solitary” – (Jeff Hall). Through the transparent cross we view Passion (suffering) AND Passion (enthusiasm and desire). So whilst each of us are ‘bearing our own cross’ – we have to embrace Passion in its entirety to be set free.
