In his new book and exhibition, BELIEVERS, photographer Tobias Rowles documents a cross-section of Australians, unified in their belief and devotion to the St George Illawarra Dragons rugby league team.

Rowles’ study represents these fanatical ‘Believers’ in an authentic and honest way. He offers an intimate insight into their private lives while collectively celebrating the colour and beauty of everyday life in suburban Australia. His work touches on the universal themes of passion, tribalism and the incredible power team sport has of bringing people from different backgrounds together.
