MikiNobu Komatsu Selected Works is an exhibition of Komatsu’s breathtaking photographs of the majestic South Island of New Zealand. The photographic works are an intimate and awe inspiring journey through the complex simplicity of nature and the powerful emotive atmosphere of the South Island’s grand landscape.

Born in Japan, and having studied in both Tokyo and New York, Komatsu has found the light and beauty of the New Zealand landscape to provide a continual source of inspiration and subject matter for the past thirty years. The rich quality of light acts as a portal through which the artist encounters another world beyond the physical reality.
