RITA ZIMMERMANN
Polish born photographer Rita Zimmermann has always worked with a variety of mediums including photography, video, installation and performance. While she works in a diverse range of mediums there is one underlying structural principle found in all of her work, Collage.
Zimmermann creates a multi-layered visual experience in each of her works. The images disturb our sense of reality and confuse our preconceived notions of popular culture.
