‘A City Unpolarised’ By Steve Greenaway
Shot over a two-year period in cities including London, Sydney, Paris and Auckland, ‘A City Unpolarised’ overlays urban streetscapes with fashion shopfronts. By uniting the reflections with the mannequins behind the glass, Greenaway transforms and transports them, redefining both the figure and the space. The layers of light, texture and familiar content allow the eyes of the audience to travel around the images, and often discover something new that they didn’t notice upon first glance.
